WHAT IS RESILIENCE COACHING?
Resilience is the ability to react and adapt appropriately to challenges, allowing you to achieve your goals. When individuals and teams are more resilient, they feel more energized and are able to approach challenges with a greater sense of purpose and motivation. In our coaching we start from your current situation and look at what you truly desire. Once we have established this we work together on reaching your goal.
Coaching is an interpersonal journey where I will be your guide. The key elements in our work together are openness, trust, respect and commitment. How to recognize resilient people. Many descriptions can be found, I use the 7 traits of resilience by professor Erwin R. Seydel:

Resilient people...:
1. Accept facts, situations and experiences they cannot change. They accept the way people are
2. Focus on solutions, have the ability to improvise and don’t look back
3. Learn from experiences and look for new and more effective actions
4. Communicate effectively, ask questions and connect with others easily
5. Believe in their ability to behave successfully
6. Accept themselves, including their emotions
7. Look for a deeper understanding of the world that surrounds them, they have a clear mission in life and are motivated to commit their powers for a better society

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF COACHING?
The goal of coaching is always result and future oriented. Here lies the difference with therapy, which is process- and healing oriented. Coaching has a focus on a result in the future and starts from your current situation. Therapy will help you to tackle blockages from the past and heal your past wounds.

WHEN CAN A COACH HELP YOU?
When you feel lost, tired, sad and you continue to move on your current path hoping to find a solution, some clarity, some joy, a new path, ...
You received a lot of advice from friends, family, colleagues, ... and still feel the same. A coach can help you to discover and uncover other possi-bilities within and around you by looking at your current situation with different glasses. A coach will help you to look at the internal and external processes that play a role and will help you grow into your desired situation. Through this coaching you will also grow as a person.

Facing new challenges due to the covid-pandemic and/or other changes which don’t give you or your organization the desired outcome?
